Selank + Semax

Selank/Semax blend

Research blend2 components

Two Russian-developed neuropeptides combined in one vial.

What it is

This blend combines Selank, studied for anxiety, with Semax, studied for attention and stroke recovery. Both are short synthetic peptides developed in Russia and registered there, and both are research compounds in the US.

Components

  • Selank: Tuftsin-derived peptide registered in Russia as an anti-anxiety agent. Approved outside the US
  • Semax: ACTH-derived peptide registered in Russia for stroke and cognitive disorders. Approved outside the US

What the research shows

Each component has its own body of mostly preclinical research, summarized on its brief. No published controlled studies have tested these combinations as blends, so any benefit of combining them is theoretical.

Reconstitution math

Blend labels usually state the total mg in the vial. When you use the calculator, the result refers to the total blend; multiply by each component's share of the total to get its amount. Check the label or certificate of analysis for the ratio.

Storage and handling

Lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder is most stable sealed, dry and protected from light. Laboratory practice is to keep unopened vials frozen at about -20 °C for long-term storage, or refrigerated at 2 to 8 °C for shorter periods. After reconstitution, keep the solution refrigerated at 2 to 8 °C, avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles and use aseptic technique for every draw. Formal stability data in solution has not been published for most research peptides, so follow the supplier's label and certificate of analysis.
